SNP Ambassador Michael-Ann Rowe‘s easy-peasy sardines simmered in tomatoes is a quick and easy dinner with just two ingredients!
1 can sardines, in oil | |
1 32 oz. can of chopped Roma Tomatoes | |
Optional: 1 tsp. red pepper flakes (substitute for ½ tsp. paprika) |
Recipe developed by Michael-Ann Rowe
1. | Heat can of tomatoes in medium-size pan over medium heat for 5 minutes. |
2. | Add red pepper flakes or paprika for added spice. |
3. | Add can of sardines with oil. Cover and cook over medium to low heat for 15 minutes, turning once. |
4. | Serve entire pan of sardines in middle of table, or plate with salad. |
